The Coffee County School System is working on a great year in education.
We are taking into consideration the information from the Guidance for Georgia K-12 Schools and School-Based Programs document from the Georgia Department of Public Health and other resources to devise our policies. This guidance was used to prepare our school system's Operations Plan and student handbook, which can be found with the links below.

The Coffee High Athletic Department has announced four new head coaches for the 2022-2023 school year.

At the June 23 regular monthly meeting of the Coffee County Board of Education, Dr. Morris Leis presented the Superintendent's Award to Dr. James Banks and Mrs. Kim Clayton. Both administrators are retiring after 30 years of service with the Coffee County School System.

The academic calendar for the 2022-2023 School Year was approved by the Coffee County Board of Education on February 24, 2022. The first day of school will be Monday, August 8 and the last day of school will be Wednesday, May 24. Graduation for the Class of 2023 will be Saturday, May 27.

On May 9th 2022, the Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA) announced that Dr. Morris Leis, Superintendent of Coffee County Schools, will complete a three-year term on AASA’s (The National School Superintendents Association) Governing Board.
